Father Deacon Victor

On Sunday July 27, at St Vladimir Church in Rock City,
our Reader Victor was ordained a subdeacon and a deacon
by Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada.

Here are a few pictures, taken by several people.

2023 Nativity and ordination

CHRIST is Born!
This Nativity was special for our Father Deacon Gregory Finlon, as it was his last times serving as a deacon.
Here are a few pictures during the Nativity Eve Vespers, and the Divine Liturgy for the Nativity of Christ:

Then on Monday, January 9th, Deacon Gregory was ordained to the priesthood, and is now serving Saint Innocent as Father Michael (his baptismal name).

During the same celebration, Father John received the Colored Skufia, an award for his seven years of service at Saint Innocent.

Here are pictures taken during the ordination service at our Cathedral, in the presence of our Metropolitan Nicholas, Archbishop Peter, Bishop Daniel (OCA), Bishop Longin (Serbian), many priests, deacons, and servers.

We were also blessed with the visit of the Kursk Icon for the day:

As is the tradition, the newly ordained priest served Vespers on the same day and the Divine Liturgy on the following day, at Saint Innocent:
